Citizens will be able to suggest solutions to problems within questionnaire

Volunteers of the Institute for European Policy and Reform will question people from 16 districts in order to find out solutions to the problems faced in the country. The first polls will be carried out based on eight successful European practices that will be identified and formulated by experts and will be then adjusted and implemented in Moldova. It will yet happen after consulting the people. Afterward, another eight policies will be developed based on solutions formulated by the people, IPN reports.

According to a communique of the Institute, the project will be implemented both in towns and in villages. The questions will be different so that the Institute’s experts could later adjust the proposals to the needs and wishes of the people.

There were created six teams of experts – policy moderators. By the end of this year, they will work out 16 public policies in economy, public administration, security, European integration, justice and anticorruption, social sphere and healthcare.

There will also be set up local participation councils that will ensure connection with the people. Such councils were already constituted in Straseni, Orhei, Stefan Voda, and Hanceti.
