A resident of Chisinau’s Ciocana district remained without car as he accumulated debts for heat of over 31,000 lei. The car was sequestrated. The owner was given seven days to clear the debts. Otherwise, the vehicle will be sold in order to recover the money for the consumed heat, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of SA Termocom, 194 notices concerning debts of over 1 million lei were sent to bad payers last week. As many as 155 cases over debts of 1.8 million lei were sent to court. There were prepared another 126 cases over debts of 875,000 lei.

The courts have so far passed 50 decisions and issued 17 execution orders.

The administration of SA Termocom calls on the bad payers to settle the debts as quickly as possible. The debts and bills can be paid at bank branches, through electronic payment terminals and at the company’s commercial center situated at 6 Tudor Vladimirescu St.
