A number of cultural events will take place in Chisinau to celebrate Our Language Day on August 31. Lucia Culev, head of the municipal culture department, announced that the program will begging with flower-laying ceremonies, followed by a show on the Classics Alley, IPN reports.

In the afternoon, the Great Assembly Square will host a concert featuring a symphonic orchestra and a pop-rock band, who will perform songs composed and written by Moldovans.

Additionally, a website will be launched where the public will be able to post the grammar mistakes found on posters and billboards. The project is initiated in partnership with the House of the Romanian Language “Nichita Stanescu”.
