The mayor of Chisinau municipality has a new adviser for relations with the police. Iurie Cuculescu was introduced in the October 21 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, IPN reports.

Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said the new adviser is a police colonel. He worked in a number of subdivisions of the Ministry of the Interior and was a member of the Government’s Anti-Drug Commission.

Dorin Chirtoaca asked that the new adviser should every Monday present information about the road accidents and crimes in the municipality as the deputy head of the Chisinau Police Division Silviu Musuc has been absent from the City Hall’s meetings for several weeks.
