After almost two hours of the bomb threat at the Chisinau City Hall, the councilors resumed the meeting of the Chisinau Council. The combat engineers continue to examine the building, IPN reports.

The municipal councilors are to discuss amendments to the 2013 budget law that was agreed in the second reading.

The heads of the municipal divisions also returned to their offices. No other persons have access to the building.

At 10.45 this morning, a man who presented himself as a war veteran called the police and said that a bomb was planted in the City Hall. He said he expressed thus his dissatisfaction with the local authorities’ delay in offering him a dwelling. The police determined the mobile phone number from which the call was made.
