Car with three occupants falls off bridge

A terrible accident happened at the entrance to Bucovat village, Straseni. A car heading for Ungheni skidded on the wet road, broke the parapet of a bridge and fell from a height of about 15 meters. There was a man, his wife and their one-year-old boy in the car, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The 31-year-old driver lost control of the car at a turn. The vehicle skidded and fell off the bridge, said the head of the Traffic Police Division Gheorghe Botnariuc.
The woman aged 28 died on the way to the Straseni hospital. The child, whom she held in her arms, went into a coma, while the man suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and was admitted to the reanimatology section.
Unofficial sources said the man died in the hospital several hours later. The boy is in a critical condition.
