ARTICO offers free training to children and young people under 32

Children from the age of five and young people up to the age of 32 can apply to courses in modern dancing, foreign languages, fashion design, and origami at the National Center for Children and Youth ARTICO. Those who are fond of national costumes can attend classes in artistic clothing. Classes will be also given in sculpture and ceramics, graphics, tapestry work, etc.

The training courses are free. The attendees pay only for consumes, decorations, trips and other costs that are not related to the teaching process, IPN reports. Modern dancing trainer Cristina Stishko said there may be several groups of 15 – 20 persons in one course.

The parents who took part in the Open Doors Day at ARTICO at the beginning of the training year said that attendance of creation courses contributes to the intellectual and spiritual development of children and helps them to gain confidence in themselves.

“My son will attend modern dancing classes, namely classes in Hip Hop. We together chose this activity so as to develop perfect carriage,” said a parent.

The Center’s 70 courses are now attended by 4,000 students and young people. The classes are given in the second half of the day.
