A number of apartment buildings in Chisinau’s Centru district remained without running water following a pipe accident. A leakage occurred in Ion Inculet St and the water there mounted the curb, IPN reports.

The central dispatcher’s office of the public utility SA Apa-Canal Chisinau was informed about the accident at about 10am on Friday, July 26. As a result, all the apartment buildings situated on the streets I. Nistor, David, M. Eliade, Cechir, Pan Halippa, I. Inculet, and Starostenko were disconnected from the water supply.

Emergency teams are working to remove the faults. The supply of water will be resumed at 8pm.
