Road workers intervened with 12 snowplows in the northern districts and spread antiskid material on the roads. The layer of snow in Briceni district reached 8 cm, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure, the snowplows cleaned the roads in the districts of Edinet, Ocnita, Donduseni, Soroca, Floresti, Rascani and Glodeni. Now all the national roads are passable.

For the snow removal works on public roads, the State Road Administration has stored up 20,000 tonnes of antiskid material. The supply will be supplemented with another 60,000 tonnes the next few days.
