“Antimafie” presents list of candidates for seats of MP

The National Council of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” has compiled the list of candidates for the November 30 legislative elections. The list is headed by the leader of “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu. He is followed by the movement’s deputy head Daniela Bodrug and the party’s secretary and head of the electoral staff Pavel Gherman, IPN reports.

The next positions are occupied by entrepreneur in the UK Carolin Velisca, entrepreneur in France Igor Buneanu, professor Alexandru Florenta, student at the Teacher Training University Natalia Stratan, IT specialist Eugeniu Tiganas, freelancer in Belgium Vladimir Stati, barmen in Greece Alexei Tudoreanu, pensioner Serghei Craciun, expert in science of commodities Vladimir Zagareanu, pensioners Ion Echim and Vasile Lysyi, and freelancer Sergiu Balmus.

According to a communiqué of the People’s Movement “Antimafie”, the party’s list includes only members of the movement. The list is mainly topped by young people. A part of them were chosen from among Moldovans working abroad who chose to return home for a political career. The movement’s slogan for the election campaign is “No obligation outside public interests!”.

On October 3, 2014, the People’s Movement “Antimafie” will file the required set of documents for being registered as contender in elections to the Central Election Commission.
