The National Anticorruption Center has launched an awareness-raising campaign within which two anticorruption videos will be daily broadcast in Chisinau public units of transport with monitors, over 100 trolleybuses and 20 busses overall, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Center, the videos will be broadcast once in 15 minutes, about 6,000 times a day. The messages will be both in Romanian and in Russian.
The first video presents the story of a corrupt functionary and the consequences of corruption acts – a convict’s shirt. The second video is about a family drama caused by corruption: a child wants to solve a problem in the family and tries to corrupt his father. As the father does not want to take bribe, the child persuades his grandfather and this fact arouses the father’s concerns. Both of the videos end with a call to the people to use the national anticorruption line 800 55555.
The awareness-raising campaign will last for six months. It will also cover Balti municipality.
