Andrian Mardare mounted again the winner’s rostrum at a prestigious tournament held in Germany. After winning silver at the European Challenge of Dessau, the 25-year-old athlete managed to achieve the same result at the World Challenge of Berlin, IPN reports.
This time Mardare threw the javelin at a distance of 82.61 meters, being again outstripped by Germany’s Johannes Vetter (87.26m). Poland’s Marcin Krukowski won bronze (82.31m).
In two days, Andrian will compete at the World Challenge of Kladno, the Czech Republic, and will then contend at the Balkan Games in Cluj. The last competition will involve the elite of the Moldovan athletics
