Ex-manager of the national football team of Moldova Alexandru Curteian is the new coach of the second-league Lithuanian team Panevezys, IPN reports.
The last time Curteian trained Jelgava, which ended sixth the last season in Latvia. In 2015 he trained the national football team of Moldova, but won no victory in ten matches.
As a player, Curteian became five times champion with Zimbru, one time champion of Poland with Widzew Lodz in 1997 and two years later won Russia’s Cup with Zenit.
