AH1N1 flu causes death of 56-year-old woman

Another woman from the municipality of Chisinau died from the AH1N1 flu virus after developing complications. This is the fourth case of death from AH1N1 in Chisinau. Nicolae Furtuna, deputy chief doctor of the Municipal Public Health Center, has told Info-Prim Neo that the woman was 56. She died at Saint Trinity Hospital in Chisinau in the evening of February 26. The AH1N1 flu has caused eight deaths in Moldova so far this year. Specialists recommend eating products that contain vitamin C and garlic and onion, which are antimicrobial, leading a healthy lifestyle, without tobacco and alcohol, avoiding crowded places and contact with sick persons, using masks, washing the hands, airing the rooms, and seeing a doctor when the first flu symptoms appear.
