The students of primary and secondary schools and lyceums will study based on new textbooks that will meet the school curriculum modified in 2018. By September 1, 2024, 110 new textbook titles will be delivered to schools, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the schools will be supplied with 43 new titles by the start of the 2023-2024 school year. The rest will be delivered by September 1, 2024.

In a meeting, Minister of Education and Research Anatolie Topală instructed the representatives of publishing houses to involve the most experienced teachers in the designing of textbooks in line with the requirements in the field and the expectations of students and teachers.

The tender contest to purchase textbooks that will be delivered to schools in 2024 will be announced in the near future. There will be purchased 67 school textbook titles, 52 of which for primary and secondary education, while 15 for lyceums.
