Temperatures expected to rise

The State Hydrometeorological Service forecasts spring temperatures for the next few day, determined by  a warm air mass coming from the Atlantic Ocean that will cross Moldova’s territory.

Asked by IPN to provide details, Alexandru Putină, forecaster on duty at the State Hydrometeorological Service, said daytime temperatures on March 4 will vary between  +13 and +15 degrees Celsius, while nighttime ones between 0 and +5 degrees Celsius. On March 5, the temperatures during the day will oscillate between +14 and +16 degrees Celsius. It will be as warm the next day, on Wednesday.

On March 7, it will be even warmer - +15 to +17 degrees Celsius. On March 8, daytime temperatures will rise to even +18 degrees Celsius in southern Moldova.

On March 9, the temperatures will decline to +11 - +13 degrees Celsius, while on March 10 to +9 - +11 degrees Celsius. No precipitation is expected. The wind will blow at a speed of 15/20 meters per second.
