The apartment buildings in Chișinău municipality that are managed by municipal enterprises are 75% ready for the cold season, while the blocks managed by associations and cooperatives are 62% ready. The information was provided by Gennady Dubiţa, deputy head of the General Public Amenities Division.

The engineering systems inside apartment buildings managed by municipal enterprises were 99% cleaned, while the blocks managed by associations and cooperatives – almost 60%. The hydraulic control was performed in the amount of 96% and, respectively, 46%.

Gennady Dubiţa was quoted by IPN as saying that almost 400 technical passports have been signed so far and the blocks are ready to receive heat.

As to the utility vehicles owned by the enterprises managed by the Division, the functionary said these have 12 functional  tractors used as snowplows and 28 smaller tractors equipped with a broom and a blade and also a trailer. They are to purchase five smaller tractors and five trailers. As regards the antiskid materials, they have 15 tonnes of technical salt and 9 tonnes of deicing ecological solution. Other antiskid materials are to be bought and will be delivered to the Division in the nearest future.
