The encounter between Petrocub and Milsami played in Hâncești was interrupted in the first half because of the torrential rain, IPN reports.

The goals were scored in the second part. Jessie opened the score in the 59th minute, this being his first goal for Petrocub in an official match. Alexandru Antoniuc tied in over two minutes.

In the next round, Milsami plays at home against Sheriff, which won the third consecutive victory after being taken over by Croatian coach Zoran Zekic. This time, the team from Tiraspol beat Dinamo-Auto 3-0. Evgeni Oancea managed to score two goals, with Brazil’s Ribeiro being the third scorer.

Sheriff kept its advantage of five points over Sfîntul Gheorghe, which scored a victory in the tenth stage. The team from Suruceni defeated the newly promoted Codru Lozova 2-1. Vadim Chemyrtan scored two goals in the first half, while Arcadie Rusu set the final scoreline in the 52nd minute.

“Today’s victory is important. Chemyrtan will be unable to play in the encounter against Sheriff in the final of the Cup owing to the suspension. He will be replaced by Boiciuc, who wasn’t actually suspended,” Sfîntul Gheorghe coach Sergey Cebotari told a news conference.

Speranța climbed to the fourth place after winning against Zimbru 1-0. The only goal was scored by Maxim Iurcu in the 8th minute.
