Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot won the ATP 250 tournament “Delray Beach Open” that was held in Florida, IPN reports.

In the final, he beat the UK’s Daniel Evans, ATP No. 148, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6, after saving three game balls. In the previous rounds, Albot defeated Australia’s Nick Kyrgios, ATP No. 64, and the Unites States’ Steve Johnson, World No. 34.

Radu Albot became the first Moldovan to win an ATP tournament. Owing to his triumph in Florida, Radu Albot climbed to the 52nd spot in the world rankings.
