Petitions filed to State Chancellery in 2018 higher in number than previous years

The State Chancellery last year examined 4,047 petitions submitted by people. The figure is by 185 petitions higher than in 2017 and by over 600 petitions higher than in 2016. Almost 600 petitions were filed in electronic form, IPN reports, with reference to the Government’s press service.

After systematizing the information, it was established that most often the people raised such problems as the recalculation of pensions, valorization and indexation (over 500 petitions).

A number of 2,555 petitions were referred to ministries and other central administrative authorities, while over 900 petitions to the local public authorities. The subdivisions of the State Chancellery examined almost 1,000 petitions. The largest number of petitions (581) and of people who had an audience (66) was recorded last October.

The Government reminds that the official websites of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, www.gov.md, and the State Chancellery, www.cancelaria.gov.md, were updated to meet the needs to permanently inform the people about the examination of petitions and results of audiences.
