Parliament on September 14 will stage the Open Doors Day. According to the legislature’s press service, the event forms part of the series of activities held to celebrate the International Day of Democracy that is marked on September 15, IPN reports.
Guided tours of the Parliament Building will be staged as of 1pm. Entrance will be possible with an identity card every half an hour, with registration beforehand.
On this day, the visitors could see the exhibition of the 12 institutions that report to Parliament. The stands will inform about the activity of the public institutions and the way in one can take part in the decision-making process.
A playground will be set up in the Parliament Building for the first time. The small visitors could draw, do puzzles and take part in contests with prizes there.
Those interested could learn how to correctly make a petition and could leave messages for MPs.
