The European Parliament voted in favor of retaining the same time all-year round and of abolishing daylight saving time. The Government of Moldova will take a decision to this effect after the Council of Europe approves the given changes, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure stated for IPN.

According to adevarul.ro, the story began last yearend, when Lithuania requested the EU to scrap clock changing as this action two times a year causes problems to people and the majority considers this thing irritating. The resolution was adopted by a majority of votes. Romania and the rest of the member states are to also adopt it.
