Maia Sandu urges supporters to behave calmly

The leader of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Maia Sandu calls on the supporters of her party to behave calmly and not to expose themselves to dangers in the protests mounted in Chisinau on June 7, IPN reports.

In a live video on her Facebook page, Maia Sandu said the people were mobilized and transported to Chisinau by the Democratic Party and “aggressive people” walk on the streets of the capital city carrying placards in support of the current regime.

“The regime feels it is in danger. I make a call for calmness and urge our supporters to stay at home or at the workplaces. You should not come to the Parliament Building or the head office of the PAS and should not travel to other places where you can be in danger,” stated Maia Sandu, noting she is in contact with the embassies working in Chisinau.

“It is not clear what the regime plans. We are not fine, but we will not allow to be intimidated and frightened. We want you to also be safe. That’s why we consider you should better stay at home.”
