The Constitutional Court rejected Democratic candidate Iurie Urzică’s request to recount the votes cast in the February 24 elections in single-member constituency No. 4 Râșcani, IPN reports.
Iuire Urzică argued there are discrepancies between the data inserted in the vote records of some of the polling stations. According to the former candidate, these violations are serious and affect the election results and the distribution of seats.

The Constitutional Court’s decision is definitive, cannot be appealed, takes effect when it is adopted and is published in the Official Gazette.
