The investments in children are investments in the future and in a better society. This is the reason for which the Democratic Party promoted and will put into practice a number of social initiatives in support of families with children, the Democratic leader Vlad Plahotniuc stated in meetings with voters in Nisporeni, where he runs in the single-member constituency, on February 17, IPN reports.

The leader of the PDM discussed with employees of the kindergarten “Fairytale” and with parents whose children attended this nursery school. Vlad Plahotniuc told them about the Democrats’ initiative to offer by 200 lei a month to each child up to the age of 18 that was adopted by Parliament in the first reading. “These are the billions of lei that we can allot from the budget as we accumulated such amounts,” stated Vlad Plahotniuc.

He also visited the Lyceum “Mircea Eliade” in Nisporeni town, where he discussed with teachers and lyceum students. According to the PDM, the teachers welcomed the salary reform in the budgetary sphere and spoke about the continuation of the reform of the education curriculum and other projects aimed at improving the education system.
