President Igor Dodon announced that in the Munich Security Conference in which he is taking part these days, he will present a balanced foreign policy concept that is based on the permanent neutrality status of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

“We worked out a rather serious document and during the past few months discussed in general this project in Moscow, Washington, Paris, Berlin, Vienna. I personally discussed this project with Putin, with Macron, Merkel, Trump. It means keeping the relations with Europe and the signed agreements, but also restoring the relations with Russia and avoiding anti-Russia or anti-European and anti-U.S. actions,” he stated.

The President noted he could have a working visit to Turkey the next weeks as he wants to discuss a number of projects for Moldova with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
