The Republic of Moldova should keep and develop the partnership with the European Union, restoring simultaneously the good relations with the Russian Federation, President Igor Dodon stated in a meeting with the Head of the EU Delegation in Chisinau Peter Michalko, IPN reports.

In a posting on Facebook, Igor Dodon wrote that he is for stimulating the relations of cooperation with the European Union so as to implement more projects of common interest in different areas.

In the meeting, the two officials discussed aspects of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the country’s domestic and foreign policy, the local mayoral elections in Chisinau and Balti and the parliamentary elections set for this autumn.
